WHO WE ARE

Team 50cc started as a group of 6 six friends and business associates in Auckland, New Zealand. Not all of us were motorbike people, in fact 2 of us didn't even have a licence, but we had all been to Japan and were keen to explore more of this fascinating country. With an eye for economy as well as adventure we settled on buying new 50cc Hondas and planning a 14day, 2000km odyssey across rural Japan avoiding main roads and highways. After the 2 weeks on the road all vowed to return in 2025 to ride the round the northern island of Hokkaido .Word spread and we found that we were getting inquiries and requests to join the next trip. Seeing a business opportunity we have decided to form a touring company and to offer our experience and knowledge to those who dream of exploring Japan by motorcycle but don't know how to go about it. With Hokkaido in mind we have moved to the 110cc Honda Dio which will be more suitable for the longer distances of that island.
